A self-employed Somerset businessman and his family have been left to pick up the pieces after thousands of pounds' worth of tools were stolen from their van.
Thieves targeted a van parked on the Bartletts Elm development in Huish Episcopi near Langport, managing to gain entry and steal tools.
The family, which has asked not to be identified, is appealing for information about the theft and claims that others in the same area have been targeted in similar ways.
