A care home has been fined £100,000 for breaching fire regulations at a staff accommodation house.
Almondsbury Care Ltd, of Berrow Road, Burnham-on-Sea, appeared at Taunton Magistrates Court yesterday (March 30) facing five offences under the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005.
The charges were brought by Devon & Somerset Fire & Rescue Service after an inspection of a house which was being used by Almondsbury Care Ltd.
