POLICE are appealing for witnesses following a purse snatch in Winscombe.
At about 8.15am on October 8, a woman was walking to the bus stop in Sandford Road when she was passed by a man on a mountain bike.
A spokesman for the police said: "He grabbed the purse from her handbag which contained cash which had been raised for an air ambulance charity.
The suspect is described as a white man in his late 20s or early 30s.
