A Somerset man charged with assaulting a woman during an incident in the town has been ordered to stand trial before Somerset Magistrates.Timothy John Hix, 54, of Patwell Street, Bruton, appeared in the dock before a special domestic violence court at Yeovil.He was charged that, on September 10 at Bruton, he assaulted the woman by beating her.He pleaded not guilty to the allegation, and following a review of the case, the matter was adjourned until November 7 when a trial will take place.MORE:...
