Police are appealing for witnesses after a man was assaulted in Crewkerne over the weekend.
The victim was assaulted just before 8pm on Sunday (October 2) when he went out to the communal bins area on Barley Yard, just off North Street.
The suspect spoke briefly to the victim and then attacked him, injuring his leg, before fleeing along North Street.
The victim suffered grazing to his leg, but did not require any further treatment.
