A gang armed with sticks chased down a man last night (October 15) – forcing him to flee through nearby gardens.
According to a police Facebook page the pursuit took place at around 4.50pm on Saturday.
Mere Police in Wiltshire received reports of a man running through gardens in the village of Zeals to get away from three men chasing him.
Officers will be increasing patrols in the area to reassure the public.
