Four shops in Somerset illegally sold knives to young people during an undercover operation at the weekend.
Teams of junior police cadets, all aged under 18, visited shops across the Avon and Somerset police area and tried to buy knives - something that is illegal for under 18s.
Of 13 shops used as part of the test purchasing operation, seven failed the test. Four of the shops were in Somerset.
