Nearly 2,000 crimes were reported to police in Yeovil over the last year.The figures, which cover all recorded offences between September 2015 and August 2016, show that 1,829 crimes have taken place in the Yeovil Central district and have been released by Avon and Somerset Constabulary.Crime levels in the town have dropped by just over five per cent over the last six months.
