A SIX-YEAR-OLD boy was left heartbroken after thieves stole a huge pumpkin he had grown from a seed in his dad's allotment.
But a family-run shop in Rodney Stoke has put the smile back on the boy's face – by letting him choose an even bigger pumpkin.
Jack Cox, who will be seven next week, planted his pumpkin seed in April and has been tending to it with his dad, Neil, at the family's Wideattes Road allotment ever since.
