Desperate for some cash so she could get back home, a Sherborne woman went thieving in Boots, helping herself to more than £200 worth of fragrances.
However, a security guard at the store on Middle Street spotted Sarah Ann Buckney stuffing perfume into her bag and down the front of her trousers, and challenged her as she left.
She threw the items on the ground and said: "You've got your goods back, please let me go", but was detained and arrested by the police.
