Armed police officers were called to Yeovil following reports of a person with a large knife in the town.A concerned member of the public called Avon and Somerset Constabulary on January 4 just before 4pm because they thought they saw someone with the weapon.The police then dispatched an armed response unit to the address in the West Hendford area of the town.After a thorough search no one was found with a weapon and house to house enquiries were carried out.Read more: Four in court over violent...
