A Yeovil man accused of having a stash of cannabis in his bedside cabinet has denied the offence, claiming somebody else had put it there instead.Police searched Simon John Spalding's address after reports of a strong smell of cannabis coming from within.But when he appeared in court he denied the drugs belonged to him, saying that somebody else must have put them there.Spalding, 26, of St Davids Crescent, pleaded not guilty to being in possession of three grams of cannabis (class B) at Yeovil...
