A CHEDDAR shop owner was mowed down by a gang of thieves who stole thousands of pounds worth of stock.Dave Hodgson, of Gorge Outdoors, was left shaken and bruised after a black Vauxhall Astra, being used as a getaway car, accelerated at him and knocked him down.Mr Hodgson, who has owned the shop for five-and-a-half years, was serving a customer when he heard the door signal a new customer had entered the store.At 2pm, on Thursday, three men went to the back of the shop, picked up ten jackets...
