Counterfeit notes have been used to buy goods in a Somerset town, prompting a warning from a local police officer.
PC Neil Wolstenholme told residents to "be on your guard" on Twitter after recent incidents in Wincanton.
His tweet on Monday (December 19) said: "Counterfeit notes have been used to purchase goods in Wincanton recently! Be on your guard and extra vigilant."#Wincanton #Police #Community."
