A man has been jailed by North Somerset Courthouse after being found guilty of beating up a victim - with tins of baked beans.
Ben Lawton, 50, and a gang attacked victim Lee O'Leary, beating him unconscious in the street.
The North Somerset Courthouse was told how Lawton, who has a history of violence, swung a plastic bag containing tins of baked beans at his head and then kicked and punched his body.
Lawton denied a single charge of assault by beating during a trial.
