Detectives investigating a historic allegation of rape in Taunton are making a final plea for the victim to contact them.
In March police first asked a woman to contact them after she wrote anonymously to the police about a rape in Taunton in 1968.
The victim first got in touch with the independent charity Crimestoppers before writing letters to both Avon and Somerset Police and Devon and Cornwall Police.
