An estimated £19,000 of illegal and counterfeit tobacco has been seized after a series of raids took place in Weston-super-Mare.
Four men and one woman have been arrested under section 92 of the Trade Marks Act 1994.
The raids on six commercial properties and six residential addresses in the town saw more than 53,000 cigarettes and 5kg of hand rolling tobacco siezed by officers from Trading Standards, HM Revenue and Customs, police and the south west regional enforcement team.

A man has been jailed by North Somerset Courthouse after being found guilty of beating up a victim - with tins of baked beans.
Ben Lawton, 50, and a gang attacked victim Lee O'Leary, beating him unconscious in the street.

They would like to talk to them in relation to an assault causing grievous bodily harm, which took place on Saturday, July 19 at around 7am.
