Avon and Somerset recorded its highest ever levels of hate crime immediately following the EU referendum in June 2016.
New statistics released by Avon and Somerset Constabulary reveal there were 449 hate crimes recorded in the county between July and September 2016, which is 19 per cent more than between April and June 2016.
